1 month programme (November)
This course will provide the students with the main techniques of Behavioral Audiological assessment used in Clinical Audiology focusing on the methodology tests and questionnaires used in the daily practice. 1 month (February)
This Course will address all the relevant techniques for the management of the hearing impaired patient (diagnosis, documentation, communication, counseling, etc) and the professional aspects in Clinical Audiology, all focused to the clinical practice. 1 month (May)
This Course will provide the student with the knowledge on special procedures in the assessment and treatment in Clinical Audiology (Cochlear implants and the difference between the adaptation in children and adults, tinnitus and TRT, BPPV). The Course also covers assessment protocols and communication strategies for hearing impaired patients. 1 month (June)
In this course the students will learn the fundamentals of these techniques and their possible applications with patients with hearing loss, as for instance children with Cochlear implants or hearing aids. As a special feature the student will study a follow-up video analyzing the evolution of a hearing impaired child. 1 month (July)
In this course the students will study the main techniques of treatment and rehabilitation in Clinical Audiology (Hearing Aids, hearing health questionnaires, implantable hearing aids, technical hearing assistance, etc). 1 month (March)
All the Specialisation Courses have 1 month duration. 1 month (October)
